Part of a small limited palette series of red and grey. Living and working in Devon surrounded by countryside and nearby coast, elements of nature are soaked up and reworked in my art – colour, texture, pattern, line and atmosphere of a place and in this piece I see a figure emerging.

This abstract interpretation is inspired by moody weather and the geology of the nearby Jurassic coastline – specifically the Triassic period with crumbling red sandstone cliffs. The surface texture was built up with layers of acrylic paint, charcoal powder and graphite which I drew and scratched into.

Works on paper are carefully packaged and either sent flat or in a sturdy tube. We recommend organising framing once you have your artwork in hand to ensure an accurate and professional finish – crop marks have been added to the piece. *Please note:  This piece is not mounted or framed – frame not included*
