Great care has been taken to represent the work accurately with regards to colour and dimensions. Due to variations in browsers, screens and screen settings, the online image may appear slightly different to the actual piece. Any difference is not deemed a fault and therefore is not a valid reason for return.
Ordering
How are payments handled?
In the Gallery Shop part of my website, payments are taken through PayPal in British Pounds Sterling. You do not need to have a PayPal account to purchase; you can use the PayPal service to pay with your regular debit or credit card. We do not store any of your debit/credit card details.
There is a ‘Direct bank transfer ’ option at checkout. This saves me credit card fees. If you select this option you will be emailed with details of how to pay. Please pay immediately as the artwork is marked as sold and unavailable to other customers. Once the payment is in my account, the packaging and shipping process will take place.
Shipping
Is it possible to collect my artwork from your studio?
Yes, you can select ‘Local pick-up’ in the check-out area. PLEASE CONTACT ME to arrange a suitable date and time to pick up your artwork or if there are any problems.
Is shipping included and how does it work?
I am happy to ship paintings to most countries around the world, however due to Covid-19 restrictions and Brexit issues, the automatic shipping options at checkout are limited to the UK for the time being. This will be updated as and when things become more settled.
This means if you live in the UK you can purchase a painting through the website and the shipping will be added automatically when you check out.
Basic postage charges within the UK are as follows:
Works on paper = £5
Paintings up to 40cm = £10
Paintings 40cm to 50cm = £20
Paintings 50cm to 60cm = £30
Paintings up to 80cm = £40
Paintings up to 100cm = £50
Shipping costs include packinging supplies, my labour and transit fees. Each order is tracked.
If you are outside of the UK, I can provide you with an exact quote to your address if you complete a shipping request form here – REQUEST A QUOTE. I will always provide the most reasonable quote available for your parcel.
Overseas shipments (outside the UK) may be subject to import duties and taxes according to the laws of the destination country. At present it is not clear what extra charges will be made for EU customers due to Brexit. There may be unexpected charges made for VAT, customs charges or extra handling charges. If you don’t mind paying any of these unexpected charges, please contact me here.
Any additional charges are at the customer’s expense. I have no control over these charges and accept no responsibility for additional charges.
When it comes to arranging shipping and I find that the actual cost is significantly more than quoted, I reserve the right to discuss this with you, amend shipping cost and to refuse the sale.
I have placed an order, how long will it take to receive my artwork?
Within the UK, artworks are sent by Royal Mail, Parcel Force or courier depending on weight and size. I aim to pack and ship within 5 working days. Most UK deliveries arrive within 2 days from time of shipping. Please allow 7 working days in total. If you need a piece delivered by a specific date, please contact me before placing an order to make sure it can reach you in time. I will try to meet any delivery requirements.
International deliveries are tracked, but will take longer a shipping quote can be requested here for a specific piece.
Returns
What should I do if my painting arrives damaged?
All my pieces are carefully wrapped and packed as I want them to transit safely. If you receive a piece that has been damaged in transit, PLEASE CONTACT ME within 7 days and if possible please keep a photograph of the damage.
What if my painting arrives and it’s not what I expected?
If you receive your painting and you are not happy with it, PLEASE CONTACT ME within 14 days by email and request a refund. Once a return has been agreed, you are responsible for packing and arranging return delivery using the same service it was sent to you. Once the artwork has been safely returned to me, I will refund your payment within 14 days.
What about Overseas Returns?
At this time I am unable to offer a refund or return on any product(s) sent outside of the UK.
