Part of ‘Delving Beneath Series’ – started during March 2020 lockdown, which has helped me make sense of the shifts going on around the world and reflect on what is meaningful in life.
Exploring the process of adding and subtracting until a balance is found. Using various methods of layering and piecing together fragments through mixed media and transfers, then scraping, sanding and peeling off – metaphorically delving deeper to discover what lies beneath and our hidden strengths.
Created as part of a series of 4 (sold seperately). The painting is signed on the front and the surface is protected with UV safe varnish.
