Part of the ‘Delving Beneath Series’ – this piece was created near the end of the first 2020 lockdown. It encapsulates the joys of summer – an uplifting, playful piece to bring colour and intrigue to any home. Using various methods of layering acrylic and piecing together fragments through mixed media, transfers and then working back into the surface through drawing, scraping and sanding.
The painting is signed on the front and the surface is protected with cold wax layers.
