Part of ‘Delving Beneath Series’ – created near the start of the pandemic and explored issues of uncertainty, statistic overload, mixed emotions, moments of joy and love and focusing on gratitude for the simple things in life.
The process included layering acrylic paint through painting and piecing together fragments through mixed media, then drawing, scraping and sanding – metaphorically delving deeper to discover what lies beneath and our hidden strengths through times of turmoil.
The painting is signed on the front and the surface is protected with UV safe varnish.
