TRANSFORMATION is a joint exhibition of my latest work and the work of ceramicist Trish Phillips in a dialogue between material, process and form. My paintings, inspired by a sensory response to nature, evolve through layered, expressive mark-making whilst building rich surfaces. Trish’s porcelain vessels emerge through a physical and intuitive reshaping of clay – tilted, altered and refined to capture balance, light and the quiet presence of space.
I think our pieces will work beautifully together and am so looking forward to this show. Hope you can visit!
